Narekober ng mga awtoridad ang tinatayang P1,562,000.00 halaga ng mineral ores at iligal mining equipment sa ikinasang operasyon ng mga awtoridad sa Misamis Oriental at Iligan City, Lanao del Norte noong Oktubre 30, 2025.
Nadakip ang mga suspek na si alyas “Jake” 22 anyos, at alyas “Holi”, 39 anyos.
Sa naturang magkahiwalay na operasyon ng kapulisan, narekober ang 20 abandonadong sako na mineral ores na may tinatayang halaga na aabot sa ₱162,000.00 at iba’t ibang iligal mining equipment.
“The relentless efforts of our personnel in combating illegal mining reflect our strong commitment to uphold the law and preserve the environment for future generations. PRO 10 will continue to intensify its operations to ensure that those who exploit our natural resources unlawfully are held accountable,” pahayag ni Police Brigadier General Christopher N Abrahano, Acting Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10.
