Weightlifter Jhodie Peralta from Zamboanga City did a remarkable job as she claimed silver medal in the snatch event of the Girls’ 57-kg category during the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain From October 22-30, 2025.
Peralta also captured a bronze medal in the
clean and jerk event with a successful 100 kg lift.
Zamboangueno athletes who form part of the Philippine delegation to the Asian Youth Games continue to shine and contribute to the country’d medal haul.
