In a vibrant display of culture, heritage and heart, Bukidnon once again opened its arms and soul to the world through Piniliyapan Hu Bukidnon 2025 on April 12, 2025, in Malaybalay City, showcasing powerful indigenous dances, soul-stirring chants, and community performances that honored the province’s rich ancestral roots.
Derived from the Binukid word “piniliyapan”, meaning “a glimpse,” the event lived up to its name by offering a vivid portrayal of Bukidnon’s indigenous identity through music, dance, and storytelling that reflect the life, rituals, and values of its people.

This year’s celebration welcomed esteemed officials from the Department of Tourism, including Assistant Secretary for Tourism Regulation, Coordination, and Convergence Judilyn S. Quiachon, and Assistant Secretary for Tourism Digitalization and Resource Generation Sharlene Zabala-Batin.
Joined by Regional Directors from across the country—fresh from the second Regional Directors’ Meeting—the officials enthusiastically participated in the event’s final portion: a joyful community dance where everyone in the venue, from performers to guests, moved together in a spirited display of unity and cultural pride.
